Truck traffic is intense at some of the border crossings with Romania on Friday morning, according to the website of Border Police.
On the border with Romania, traffic is intense at the border crossing points Kardam, Durankulak, Oryahovo and Nikopol at the exit for trucks.
Due to the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, traffic is temporarily flowing through one lane, regulated by traffic lights. In addition to the checkpoint in Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm and no goods vehicles are allowed through them.
On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.
On the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. In connection with the ongoing reconstruction of checkpoint Stanke Lisichkovo and the need to carry out construction works, until 21 October the traffic will be allowed to pass under temporary traffic organisation, the border authorities said.
On the border with Turkiye, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.
