Exiting truck traffic is heavy at the border with Romania at the Kardam checkpoint on Friday morning, Border Police reported on its website.

The crossing in a section of the bridge at the Ruse checkpoint is carried out in one lane due to repair works. The section is temporarily signposted, traffic is regulated.

At the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Only cars and vans can pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Construction works at the Kalotina checkpoint require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. During the holidays, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organisation before and in the border crossing area may extend the crossing time.

Traffic at the border crossing points with North Macedonia and Turkiye is normal.
