Sofia, February 23 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation is sixth in the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique's (FIG) ranking list of the ten most deserving federations for 2018 based on set criteria for the organization of and participation in FIG events. This transpired from the decisions taken at a FIG Executive Committee meeting in Lausanne on February 19 and 20.

Last year, Sofia hosted the 36th FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships.

The ranking list is topped by Azerbaijan, followed by Portugal, Russia, Australia, and Belarus.
