Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, who took MPs' question in Parliament on Friday, commented on his decision to relieve Sevdzhan Sadkaev from the post of Razgrad regional governor on July 31. Glavchev reported that he noticed tensions caused by Sadkaev taking the post, which is why he decided to have Vladimir Dimitrov take over the post of regional governor.

Glavchev's comment came after Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria MP Stela Nikolova said: "Since the dynamics of firing and appointing governors follows the dynamics of bickering between two factions within a particular political force, there should still be a little more shame when there are appointments and firings. Let's not excuse ourselves with powers." Nikolova seemed to refer to the rift within the Movement for Rights and Freedoms that became evident on July 11.

Glavchev's response was: "I strive to use only legal categories in my actions. As far as morality goes, I will let you do the talking."
