Alessandro Fantoni, Gianni Leccese, Giovanni Maria Palmia, and Ugo Tarquini, who are known as The Four Italian Tenors, will perform a concert at Hall 1 of Sofia’s National Palace of Culture (NDK) congress centre on April 28, Monte Music announced on Monday.

The Four Italian Tenors will perform Italian opera arias and Neapolitan songs alongside the Varna State Opera Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Hristo Pavlov. The repertoire includes works by Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, and other renowned composers, along with beloved Italian canzonettas.

The Four Italian Tenors project was created with the ambition to showcase the beauty and emotional power of Italian vocal art, uniting four remarkable tenor voices in a harmonious ensemble. After a careful selection process, the quartet debuted in Rome, and in 2019, they captivated audiences across the United States with a triumphant tour of 57 concerts in the country's most prestigious venues, Monte Music’s press release further said.

Their first performance in Bulgaria was in 2019 in Varna, followed by ten other concerts across the country, and appearances in Turkiye, Czechia, North Macedonia, and Kazakhstan.
