The activity of the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber is more than helping companies to work together, according to Albanian Ambassador to Bulgaria Inid Milo. The Ambassador welcomed the participants at the official opening of the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber, which took place in Sofia on Monday.

She said that the Chamber will assist investors from both countries to develop the cooperation process between them.  "I hope that the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber will be not only for the companies, but also for the people, because behind every business there are new opportunities," Inid Milo said. 

Ivan Anchev, who is co-chair of the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber, noted that the main goal of the chamber is to develop better business relations between companies from both countries and better prospects for cooperation.  Relations are not only business, there are also cultural and educational projects, but no instruments to measure this type of cooperation, he said.  

The official opening ceremony was attended by Ervis Taluri, Executive Director of the Bulgarian-Albanian Chamber of Commerce, who welcomed the participants, as well as Ardiola Alikaj, Coordinator of the Executive Master's Programme (EMBA) at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). 

The Chamber aims to promote economic relations and opportunities between Bulgaria and Albania in the fields of trade, industry, agriculture, finance, transport, technology, and communications.
