Alexander Simidchiev from Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) headed the Health Committee in the 50th National Assembly. The committee will consist of 21 MPs - seven from the GERB-UDF group, four each from the CC-DB and Vazrazhdane and two from the other parliamentary groups.

Kostadin Angelov from GERB-UDF, Katya Paneva from CC-DB, Andrey Chorbanov from TISP were elected deputy chairs. The decision on the election of the members, chairs and deputy chairs of the health committee was passed with 162 votes in favour, three against and three abstentions. 

Nadezhda Yordanova of CC-DB chaired the Committee on Human Rights and Religious Affairs. Deputies voted on the composition and leadership with 147 votes in favour, one against and six abstentions. The committee is composed of 13 MPs. Georg Georgiev of GERB-UDF was elected deputy chair.

Bozhidar Bozhanov from CC-DB was elected chair of the committee on e-government and information technology. The composition and leadership of the committee were voted by 154 votes in favour, one against and four abstentions. It will be composed of 17 MPs, and Pavel Hristov from GERB-UDF was elected deputy chair.
