The mausoleum of the brothers Evlogi and Hristo Georgiev (Bulgarian entrepreneurs and benefactors from the 19th century) in the Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest, which has the status of a museum, will be open to the public on June 2. This will happen on the initiative of the Bulgarian Embassy in Romania, the diplomatic mission told BTA.

"This is happening for the first time and is a unique opportunity for all those who love Bulgarian and Romanian history to visit the tomb and to pay tribute to those people who have made a huge contribution to the modern development of Bulgarian and Romanian society," the Embassy said.

Photography will be allowed both inside and around the complex. Volunteers will inform visitors about the history of the mausoleum.
