site.btaR&B Star Beloslava Receives Four-Month Conditional Sentence for Drunk Driving

Bulgarian R&B and jazz star Beloslava received a four-month conditional sentence and three years probation for drunk driving, the prosecution service told BTA Thursday. Her driving licence was suspended for six months and she was also fined BGN 150.

Beloslava was caught driving under the influence during the small hours of July 11, 2023. The level of alcohol in her blood was 1.25 per mille. She was charged in late August 2023 and the sentence took effect in late September after the court approved a plea bargain between the singer and the prosecution service.
