site.btaGivko Tenev-Gissen Dedicates Exhibition to Loneliness

Bulgarian artist Givko Tenev-Gissen has put up a new display, “Quadrature of Loneliness”. The exhibition can be viewed on the digital platform Gissen Art Museum, organizers said.

„The whole process of creating art is shrouded in loneliness, the loneliness of the artist. „This is something very personal, it is not said, it is not shown, this is something sacred. Something which has been in the dark for years and only the author has seen it,” said the artist.

According to him there are things that can be created for many people, but there are such which are created to touch only one person.

Givko Tenev-Gissen works in the field of caricature, graphic design, painting, drawing, poster, murals and performance. He has out over 140 exhibitions and more than 9,000 published caricatures in Bulgaria. He has received distinctions from several countries.
