site.btaIcons by Bulgarian Artists Go on Display in Berlin

An exhibition of works by more than twenty contemporary icon painters and makers and three iconographic studios opened at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin on December 18. On display are see icons, wood carvings, frescoes and mosaics made by Bulgarian artists, said the Cultural Institute.

It was opened with the blessing of Metropolitan Anthony of Western and Central Europe, followed by opening remarks by the Director of the Institute Borislav Petranov and curator Gergana Ilieva-Lisikova from the Praxis studio. Attending were the Ambassador of Bulgaria in Germany, Grigor Porozhanov, artists, diplomats, friends of Bulgaria.

The exhibition is on until the end of January 2024.
