Four migrants have been injured in a road accident near the village of Ruzhitsa, Bolyarovo Municipality, Yambol Region. They have been admitted to the St Panteleimon regional hospital in Yambol, the hospital’s deputy head, Dr. Valentin Valchev, told BTA Tuesday.

The wounded have been hospitalized in the departments of surgery and orthopedics. Two of them have concussions, and the other two have fractured vertebrae. Their lives are in no danger, Valchev added. A total of eight people were transported to the hospital after the crash. The other four were examined and released.

In Valchev’s words, the migrants are aged between 20 and 25. They said that they were from Afghanistan and Syria.

The road accident was reported to the Emergency Aid Centre around 2 p.m.
