Chief Mufti Office in Bulgaria Condemns So-called "Islamic State" Actions
in Middle East


Sofia, September 12 (BTA) - The Chief Mufti Office in Bulgaria
condemns the barbaric actions of the so-called "Islamic State"
in the Middle East, the office said in a declaration released
Friday.
   
Yet again the Chief Mufti Office declares its clear and adamant
position that taking innocent lives, violence, terror and all
the forms these take in respect to civilian and innocent people
are absolutely unacceptable, profoundly reprehensible and have
nothing to do with the principles of Muslim religion.
   
The unprecedented violation of the supreme merits of Islam and
the fact that it has been denigrated to the point of being a
means to achieve political resources and power is extremely
painful and concerning, the Chief Mufti Office says. Muslim
religion does not in any way preach violence and condemns the
taking of human life, no matter what the occasion for such an
