10th World Festival of Animated Film 2014 Award Goes to Theodore Ushev
Varna, on the Black Sea, September 14 (BTA) - Theodore Ushev,
who has been living and working in Canada for years, won the
Grand Prix of the 10th World Festival of Animated film in Varna
Sunday for his short film "Gloria Victoria".
Special diplomas also went to Piotr Dumala of Poland, and
Svetlana Filippova, Ivan Maximov and Dmitry Geller of Russia.
The winner in the Selected Films category is Ale Abreu from
Brazil for his "The Boy and the World". The Selected Children's
Film Award went to Russia's Yulia Aronova for her "My Mum is an
Airplane", and Julia Ocker of Germany received a diploma for her
"Zebra".
Sergey Merinov of Russia won the award for Selected TV Series
with "Plasticine Alphabet".
The Selected Students' Films Award was given to Edmunds Jansons
of Latvia for "International Father's Day". SN/BR
