Deputy PM Kuneva: Website on Preparation of Bulgarian EU Presidency Is Already Active

Sofia, February 19 (BTA) - The website on the preparation of the Bulgarian EU Council Presidency in 2018 is already active, Deputy Prime Minister for European Policies, Coordination and Institutional Affairs Meglena Kuneva said Friday. She took part in a roundtable on "Civil Dimensions of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2018", the Government Information Service said.

In the future, the information on the website will be made available in English, German and French. A calendar of events will also be provided. "We will create opportunities for holding discussions in the forum, submitting proposals and alerts. Conducting surveys is another element which will be activated very soon," Kuneva said.

The Deputy PM presented the key moments in the preparation of the Bulgarian Presidency: choice of priorities, preparation of the administration, technical and logistic preparation, communication strategy, and cultural programme.
