Lv 27 Mln Worth of Drugs Incinerated

Sofia, June 13 (BTA) - Illegal drugs which could have fetched 27 million leva in black-market proceeds were incinerated by the authorities on Monday, the Customs Agency reported. The substances weighed 152 kg and included 35 kg of heroin, 27 kg of amphetamine, 75 kg of marijuana and other drugs seized under more than 470 penal orders.

This adds to a total of 36 tonnes of drugs destroyed by the Customs Agency in 53 procedures over the last 16 years.
