3.1 Points Quake Registered 4 km South of Petrich

Sofia, June 19 (BTA) - An earthquake measuring 3.1 points on the Richter Scale, epicentred 4 km south of Petrich (Southwestern Bulgaria), was registered at 8:54 a.m. local time on Sunday, according to data on the website of the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The tremor occurred at a depth of 1 km.

No casualties or damage to property are reported.
