PM-Designate Borissov Presents to President Radev Government Proposal

Sofia, May 4 (BTA) - Prime Minister-designate Boyko Borissov presented to President Rumen Radev Thursday morning his proposal for a structure and composition of a Council of Ministers. He thus fulfilled an exploratory mandate that the President handed to him to try to form a government.

The government structure and lineup were announced on Wednesday. It will have four deputy prime ministers and 18 ministers, including one in charge of preparing the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council in 2018.

The proposed government is due to be put to the vote in the National Assembly.

The new Government will take over at a ceremony around 1:00 p.m.
