=Sofia, July 9 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will be in Istanbul on July 10 to attend the 22nd World Petroleum Congress. Borissov has been invited to the event by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Bulgarian government press service reported on Sunday.

Mottoed "Bridges to Our Energy Future," the congress is bringing together over 5,000 delegates from around the world. The discussions will cover all aspects of the oil industry, including its social, economic and environmental impact.

The World Petroleum Congress is organized by the World Petroleum Council, a non-governmental organization affiliated with the United Nations. The Council encourages the sustainable use and management of the planet's oil resources for the benefit of all.
