Pensions Up by 3.8 Per Cent as of July 1

Sofia, July 1 (BTA) - As of July 1, pensions granted by the end of 2017 will increase by 3.8 per cent to reach 207.60 leva for work-related pensions and 125.58 leva for social pensions for old age.
   
The change in the social pensions for old age will lead to an increase in non-work-related pensions, such as pensions for military and civil disability, social pensions for disability, and personal pensions. Also to be increased are the nortamively set allowances to pensions, which are calculated as a percentage of the social pension for old age.
