site.btaPM Borissov to Present Results of Bulgarian EU Presidency to European Parliament

Sofia, July 2 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will present the results of the Bulgarian EU Council Presidency to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Tuesday, the Government Information Service said Monday.

The Bulgarian PM will inform the MEPs on the progress made and results achieved under the main priorities of the EU Council Presidency in the last six months: the Western Balkans' European perspective and connectivity; the future of Europe and youth; security and stability in a strong and united Europe; and digital economy and the skills of the future.

Prior to his participation in the plenary session, Borissov will confer with European Parliament President Antonio Tajani.

Borissov will present the results of the Bulgarian EU Presidency also to the National Assembly, it transpires from a letter sent by him to the Parliament Chair Tsveta Karayancheva, the Government Information Service also said. He proposes to report to the MPs on the work done by the Government within the EU Council Presidency on July 13.
