Sofia, July 6 (BTA) - Emerging from a one-on-one meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Sofia Friday, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev told journalists it is important to seek synergy between Chinese initiatives and European policies and standards. Radev said: "Premier Li Keqiang and I agreed that it is worth exploring the idea of establishing a Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia."

The future center can remove stumbling-blocks between Bulgaria and China, such as the lack of information and the poor knowledge of standards, procedures and models applicable in the two countries. "Such a centre can make our relations infinitely more efficient and help coordinate the projects in the economic area and in all other fields in our region," Radev said.

"We want to develop our all-around friendly relations," he noted. MORE TO FOLLOW
