Sofia, July 8 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang expressed satisfaction with the results achieved during their meetings in Sofia, the Government Information Service said on Sunday. The two conferred before Li's departure after a four-day official visit to Bulgaria.

The two heads of government stressed the importance of the agreements reached in Sofia. "We succeeded in achieving major results not only in our bilateral relations. The 16+1 Summit gives an impetus to higher-level cooperation as well," Li said. Borissov suggested that the Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council in 2018 Liliyana Pavlova take up the arrangements for the establishment and management of the future Global Partnership Centre of the Central and Eastern European Countries and China.

During their session, Borissov and Li pointed out that cooperation within the framework of the 16+1 initiative seeks to strengthen unity in Europe and facilitate the development and implementation of projects in various fields among countries of the region.
