Social Policy Minister Kalfin Confers with Russian Union of Industrialists President Shokhin


Sofia, March 4 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Labour and
Social Policy Minister Ivaylo Kalfin has conferred with Russian
Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) President
Alexander Shokhin, Kalfin's ministry said Wednesday.

Kalfin was on a working visit to Moscow on March 3.
   
Kalfin expressed readiness to do everything he can to promote
cooperation between Bulgarian and Russian business. The two
countries have both traditions and good opportunities for new
partnership in nearly all fields, the press release quotes him
as saying.
 
In Kalfin's words, economic relations with Russia are very
important to Bulgaria. "I believe that in the crisis any
opportunity given to business should not be lost," he said and
expressed conviction that there are numerous mutually beneficial
 options for both countries.
  
The sides discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation, the
 opportunities for organizing business forums, round tables and
conferences to exchange ideas and good practices in all spheres
of the economy. Opportunities for exchange of experience in the
field of vocational training and qualification were also on the
agenda.
   
The meeting was also attended by the Bulgarian Ambassador to
Russia, Boyko Kotsev, as well as the head of the union's
Managing Director of the RSPP Labour Market and Social
Partnership Department Marina Moskovina and the Director of RSPP
 Bilateral Relations Centre Anatoly Drantussov.
