site.btaVazrazhdane Delegation Arrives in Moscow to Participate in BRICS Forum
A delegation of the Euro-sceptic Vazrazhdane party arrived in Moscow to participate in the 6th BRICS International Municipal Forum which will be held on August 27–28, the party said in a press release on Monday. The delegation is led by Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov. Its other members are Vazrazhdane-Sofia Chair Deyan Nikolov and MP Kosta Stoyanov.
According to the organizers, the BRICS forum is aimed at cooperation between participants at the level of inter-municipal integration, sustainable development and social exchange, ecology, transport, infrastructure, information technology, artificial intelligence, urban planning, economic, investment, tourism and cultural interaction.
In February 2024, a Vazrazhdane delegation paid a visit to Moscow to attend a forum on the invitation of the United Russia party of President Vladimir Putin.
BRICS was founded in 2006 and currently has nine member countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates). Since 2009, BRICS has become a geopolitical bloc that holds annual summits and is involved in multilateral policy coordination.
