Valentina Dimitrova became the champion and Lora Hristova took the silver medal in the junior women's 7.5 km pursuit discipline at the IBU Summer Biathlon World Championships in Otepää, Estonia.

Dimitrova finished in 23:27.5 minutes with a total of four faults in four shoots, while Hristova was 23.9 seconds behind with five missed targets. Ilona Plechacova (Czechia) was third with a 37.4-second deficit with three misses at the line.

The Bulgarian girls won all the world titles in junior women's disciplines. That was second gold medal for Dimitrova after the 6 km sprint on Saturday, while Hristova finished first in the super sprint on Thursday.

At the 2023 championships in Slovakia, Hristova was the sprint champion and Dimitrova finished third.
