Vladimir Malinov keeps his office as Energy Minister from the first caretaker cabinet of Dimitar Glavchev. He was Executive Director of Bulgartransgaz (since 2018). Chairman of the Board of Balkan Gas Hub ЕAD since 2019. Member of the Board of Gastrade S.A., which builds the LNG terminal at Alexandroupolis since 2021. Member of the Board of Directors of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Natural Gas (ENTSOG). His work experience includes the management of processes related to regulatory issues, relations with the EU institutions, and the certification and unbundling of the gas transmission operator.
