Georgi Tahov is nominated to keep his office as caretaker Agriculture and Foods Minister.

He is a doctor of economics, specializing in finance, cash flow, lending and insurance. A master of accounting from the Svishtov Economic Academy. A master of law from Sts. Cyril and Methodius and in strategic leadership and management of security and public order from the Interior Ministry. Specialized economy and industrial management in Germany. 

Tahov has a long experience at the National Revenue Agency. Serves for four years as Executive Director of State Fund Agriculture.
