Education System to Launch Online System Linking Pupils with Labour Market
Sofia, August 25 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Education and Science Ministry will implement a project linking the labour market and pupils. To this end, a specialized module "School - Labour Market" will be added to the existing National Portal for Pupils' Career Guidance (http://orientirane.mon.bg), which reported more than 80,000 logs for 2015.
A public procurement procedure for the implementation of the project was announced on the Ministry's website on Thursday, the Ministry said in a press release.
The portal will provide detailed information on the economy in each administrative region: strategic priorities and enterprises, a breakdown of enterprises by sector, wages, employment statistics, job opportunities, and eligibility requirements for a particular position.
Employers and pupils will be able to communicate online, and pupils will have access to electronic self-training platforms and electronic self-grading tests.
The module is part of a project entitled "System for Career Guidance in School Education," funded by Operational Programme Education and Science for Smart Growth 2014-2014, which is co-financed by the EU European Structural and Investment Funds.
