Vidin, Northwestern Bulgaria, June 19 (BTA) - The Vidin District Court Tuesday acquitted the four persons charged with an explosion which occurred at the Midjour ammunition production and disposal plant near the northwestern village of Gorni Lom on October 1, 2014, and claimed 15 lives.

The plant was working on contracts for dismantling landmines.

The four were acquitted on all charges pressed against them.

The case was heard behind closed doors.

Prosecutor Miroslav Kostov said the prosecution will protest the verdict before the Sofia Appellate Court.
