A Turkish glass manufacturer plans to invest USD 30 million in a new coated glass production line in Bulgaria. The new production capacity in Targovishte is expected to go into operation in 2025, the Sisecam company said in a press release on Monday.

The company is one of the largest glass manufacturers in Europe and the biggest Turkish investor in Bulgaria through its subsidiary glass factory Trakya Glass Bulgaria EAD, located in Targovishte. It has been operating in the country since 1997, with the latest investment bringing the total amount of the company's investments in Bulgaria to USD 925 million, the press release reads.

By diversifying its portfolio and increasing its production capacity, the company aims to meet the needs of the market and strengthen its position in the field of flat glass.
