Mt. Buzludzha in the Balkan Range will host mountain sports events for the March 3 Cup on March 4, the organizers said on social media. There will be activities for all ages, including mountain running, speed climbing, relay games for the whole family, team games, and also skiing and snowboarding. The competition will have a prize fund, and the organizers have also provided souvenirs for all participants.

Participation in the events is free and entrants only have to fill out an online form. Transportation will also be provided for all participants.

Young people from Kazanlak, Central Bulgaria, decided to revive the March 3 Cup this year after a hiatus following the only edition in 2015. The organizers are planning other similar initiatives during the year, aiming at reviving the sense for national traditions in Kazanlak and the region.

The March 3 Cup is held on the occasion of Bulgarian National Day, March 3.
