site.btaNearly 687,000 Pensioners to Receive BGN 50 Easter Supplement

Nearly 687,000 pensioners will receive Easter supplement in the amount of BGN 50 in April, Prime Minister Zhelyazkov said here Wednesday.

The funds will be distributed among people whose pension or sum of pensions with supplements and compensations is up to BGN 638 for December, which is the poverty line for 2025.

To ensure the payments, the government will extend additionally BGN 34,400,000 under the public social insurance budget. The funds will be used to restructure expenses and/or transfers under the national budget for 2025.
