The Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv was targeted in a drone attack overnight, which resulted in two residential buildings being on fire, Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram on Saturday night.

The Bulgarian community in the Mykolaiv region consists of 5,600 people, mainly in the Ternovka neighbourhood on the outskirts of Mykolaiv, according to Ukraine's last census in 2001. The settlement of Ternovka was founded by Bulgarian settlers in 1802.
