site.btaNine Countries Participate in MICE Tourism Information Tour Hosted in Bulgaria

From September 28 to October 2, Bulgaria is hosting an information tour dedicated to MICE tourism (meetings, incentive travel, conferences and exhibitions), the Tourism Ministry said here on Monday. Participating in the tour are representatives from Austria, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Turkiye and Hungary. 

The event’s main objective is to demonstrate the opportunities for organizing business events in Bulgaria and to create new partnerships between Bulgarian and foreign professionals in the field of MICE tourism.

The participants will visit key locations, such as convention centres, hotels, restaurants and venues suitable for corporate, cultural and sporting events. The tour also includes one-to-one B2B meetings with Bulgarian specialists and presentations on the opportunities which Bulgaria offers as a MICE destination.

The tour is organized by the Tourism Ministry, Sofia Municipality, Bulgarian Convention Bureau, the municipalities of Plovdiv, Velingrad and Borovets, as well as representatives from the tourism sector. The event demonstrates Bulgaria's commitment to strengthen its position as a competitive destination for MICE tourism.
