site.btaSofia University of Architecture Starts Fundraiser for Disadvantaged Students, Innovation Facilities

The leadership of the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) announced the start of a fundraiser during the holiday season. The fund, UACEG and Friends, was opened by the Rector and Deputy Rectors as the university held its Christmas Party on Friday.

The money that will be raised will be spent for three initiatives. One will support disadvantaged students at UACEG. The second will fund repairs of a university hall and turning it into a lab for digital innovations in construction. The third will support the renovation of a UACEG sport facility at Verinsko and turning it into an innovative centre for research, training and sport.

The first donation of BGN 500 was made by the UACEG rector. Donors are urged to join by December 31.

Any donations should be made to a UACEG account with the Bulgarian National Bank, IBAN: BG84BNBG96613100174501, Bank code: BNBGBGSD, and mention "UACEG and Friends" as purpose of payment.
