site.btaDemonstration Live Firings Held as Part of HEMUS 2024 International Exhibition

Demonstration live firings were held at the Zmeyovo Central Artillery Technical Test Range (South Central Bulgaria) on June 7 in the presence of Bulgarian Deputy Defence Minister Ivan Peykov, Peykov's Ministry said in a press release.

Traditionally, the firings are taking place within the framework of the 16th International Defence Equipment and Services Exhibition "HEMUS 2024" and are organized by the Professor Tsvetan Lazarov Bulgarian Defence Institute.

Taking part in the live firings were 13 companies and organizations which demonstrated weapons and ammunition provided by Bulgarian and foreign manufacturers.

The firings were watched by members of the delegations of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Vietnam and Croatia taking part in HEMUS 2024.

On last day of the exhibition, June 8, visitors will be able to watch demonstrations of the Special Operations Forces in front of Pavilion 6 of the Plovdiv International Fair grounds between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
