Mostly English, Romanian and Serbian tourists are holidaying in Pamporovo in February, Pamporovo AD told BTA on Thursday. Conditions for skiing in the resort are excellent, the ski areas "Pamporovo" and "Mechi Chal" are open at full capacity, overcoming the problems caused by the thunderstorm that broke out over the weekend. The hotels in Pamporovo are almost full of tourists, and the high occupancy rate is expected to continue until the end of February.

The resort is welcoming more English groups this week as it is now the winter holiday on the Island, Pamporovo AD said.  Bookings for next week are dominated by Romanian and Serbian holiday groups.  A snow party with guest DJs will be held every Saturday at Studenets until the end of the ski season.

In March, the tourist flow is expected to be mainly from Bulgarian tourists. On March 3, a traditional ski run with Bulgarian national costumes will take place once again. Thousands of Bulgarians from home and abroad arrive to celebrate the national holiday with a skiing procession along the tourist track from Mt. Snezhanka.

After March 5, Pamporovo AD introduces significant price reductions on hotel services, ski packages and lift passes.
