Ways to advance energy cooperation were in the focus of a meeting between Energy Minister Rumen Radev and the ambassadors of Sweden, Finland and Denmark, Katarina Rangnitt, Kristina Kuvaja-Xanthopoulos and Jes Brogaard Nielsen. Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister Nikolay Nikolov and experts of the international department.

On the agenda were energy diversification and security of access to energy resources, challenges to the energy transition, using natural gas as a transitional fuel in the energy transformation, nuclear energy and RES development prospects.

Among the highlights were energy connectivity and cooperation in the Balkans.

At the end of the meeting the three diplomats said that Bulgaria is an important partner and it is crucial that bilateral relations are maintained and advanced.
