"We are thinking about restructuring the State Consolidation Company (SCC), Minister of Economy and Industry Bogdan Bogdanov told BNT," commenting the change of SCC's Board of Directors.
"Clearly this model is not working, it is not effective," the Minister said. In his words, there is lack of responsibility in the company and there is no business programme, planning, nor control or monitoring system.
"There is a lot of speculation that some people have been replaced with 'ours' or 'your' people. There is no such thing," Minister Bogdanov said. "In this case, we are changing the board because it is not working effectively and we have real arguments," he said, adding that changes in the Ministry are not made where it is working effectively.
At a press conference on Monday, Minister Bogdanov announced that he was replacing the Board of Directors of State Consolidation Company EAD.
GERB leader Boyko Borissov criticized the incumbents over the weekend for replacing officials and replacing boards of directors en masse.
