A significant drop in thefts has been registered for yet another year on the territory of the Sunny Beach resort's east zone. Summer 2023 also saw a notable decrease in the number of anti-social acts in the central zone and on the territory of night clubs. This transpired at a working meeting of Sunny Beach AD Executive Director Sonya Enilova with the leadership of the Nessebar police department, the company managing the resort's infrastructure said. 

The increased police presence on the central and coastal promenades has also had a positive effect on tourists' security, Enilova commented. This was yet another tourist season when in collaboration with the Nessebar police department, the owner of the resort's complex ensured the presence of two Czech and two Romanian police officers.

The police are assisted in their work by over 350 CCTV cameras, which cover 80% of Sunny Beach. There is also a system recognizing the registration plates of vehicles that follows their movement from entry to exit.
