The Economy Ministry is the first institution to join the Bulgaria Wants You platform, which supports Bulgarians who live abroad and have obtained a high level of qualification there in finding their career in Bulgaria, the Ministry's press centre said Friday on the occasion of a meeting of the Economy Minister Bogdan Bogdanov and the Chairman of the Movement for National Cause Andrey Arnaudov.  

The two officially announced the beginning of the partnership between the Ministry and the Movement.

Bogdanov said that one of the main tasks is to support the realization of educated Bulgarians. "Bulgaria is developing and has excellent prerequisites for economic growth and increased investment, but a key topic at the moment is how to effectively and in a timely manner solve the demographic problem. It is high time to have a national priority around which we can unite and set an ambitious goal, which will reflect on all sectors," he stressed.

In his words, the implementation of transparent and open policy and the realization of trained people with experience in the administration is one of his Ministry's main priorities and therefore the inclusion of the department in the platform is of utmost importance. He added that it would be useful in recruiting candidates for the Ministry, Bulgaria's trade representations abroad, and state-owned enterprises under the Ministry.

The two agreed that the Ministry and its representatives would participate in various initiatives such as the career forums organized by Bulgaria Wants You for Bulgarians at home and abroad. The first of them will take place at the beginning of November in Vienna. At the event, qualified people will be presented with job vacancies and given the opportunity to meet their future employers, choose their new workplace and development opportunities in Bulgaria.

The Bulgaria Wants You platform provides up-to-date information on the quality of life and social environment by city and region and creates a link between businesses and Bulgarians here and around the world by presenting job opportunities in Bulgaria.
