The Market Price Index (MPI) of wholesale food prices dropped by 0.44% to 2.055 points this past week, after registering a rise the previous two weeks, the Commodity Exchange and Wholesale Markets State Commission said on Sunday. For more than a month, until early August, the MPI practically remained unchanged, fluctuating between 2.029 and 2.039 points.
