Bulgarian Days Festival to Be Held in Malaga on March 22-23

The 11th edition of the Bulgarian Days in Malaga Cultural Festival will take place on March 22 and 23, the organiser Malaga-Bulgaria 2010 Association said on Facebook on Thursday.  The festival will be unveiled with a concert in the R. G. Luna Cultural Centre.

To perform are representatives of the Rodina First Bulgarian Sunday School, the Bulgarian Rhythms Folklore Group, V. Rojas Flamenco Dance Group, Elena Romero Academy, Divi Samodivi Dance Group from Marbella, Marbella-Bulgaria 2013 Association, and Sharena Cherga Dance Group from Marbella.

The programme for March 22 also features a culinary competition and workshops on fashion and design, Bulgarian children's games, arts, and folk dancing. Tangra Association will present author Milena Stoycheva. 

On March 23, the participants in the festival will lay flowers at the monument to St Cyril and St Methodius in Malaga.

Malaga-Bulgaria 2010 Association is a non-profit organisation established in 2010 to unite Bulgarian citizens and help integrate them in the Spanish public and cultural life. The organisation carries out various activities related to educational and cultural projects, including the opening of the Rodina First Bulgarian Sunday School, whose educational process has been recognised by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education.
