Soprano Angela Gheorghiu will perform at Sofia’s Bulgaria Hall on October 10, making her return after five years. With her lyrical, expressive and powerful voice, she has a unique talent to convey deep emotions and enchant audiences, the Sofia Philharmonic said.

Tenor Saimir Pirgu will partner Gheorghiu on stage. 

Under the baton of Nayden Todorov, the two will perform works by Georg Friedrich Handel, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Giacomo Puccini, Arrigo Boito, Giuseppe Verdi, Umberto Giordano, Pietro Mascagni, and Francesco Cilea.
