site.btaSoFest Autumn Edition to Be Held Between November 14 and 17

The autumn edition of SoFest will be held between November 14 and 17, the festival team said on Monday. The event is hosted by Sofia Live Club.

Two theatrical performances will provoke diametric emotions among theater fans, the organizers added. The documentary performance Common People addresses the themes of success and creative energy through a dialogue with body language, out of which compelling choreography is born. Also premiering at the festival will be the comedy There is Time, starring Gerasim "Gero" Georgiev and Dobrin "Doni" Vekilov, which tells the humorous story of two men in a battle for a woman's heart.

The Dutch quintet The Fours, which compiles different genres, Latin jazz, Brazilian, funk and Caribbean groovy rhythms, will present their albums on the festival stage. The Greek Thanos Stavridis Quartet will present a music album that includes Balkan songs, rock, fusion, world jazz, gypsy rhythms, and tunes based on the accordion.

Bulgarian singers will also perform. Roberta will present her interpretation of the most iconic songs of Janis Joplin, together with musicians of different generations. Musicians Doni, Ivan Lechev, Slavcho Nikolov and Venko Poromanski from the band Fondatsiata (The Foundation) will perform together with Atanas Penev from B.T.R. and Valdi Totev from Shturtsite (The Crickets).
