Artists Petar Sibinovich, Milorad Panich and Stefan Ivanov are arranging a joint exhibition titled "Hybrid Forms", which will be on display at the +359 Gallery in Sofia from October 31 to November 22, the organizers said on Wednesday.

The exhibition is the result of the long-standing professional and friendly contact between the sculptors Petar Sibinovich (Serbia), Milorad Panich (Serbia) and Stefan Ivanov (Bulgaria). The three artists come out of their comfort zones, the gallery team says.

In their words, the audience is deliberately shown not fully finished works, but experimental processes and open-ended narratives. "What all three of them have in common in their approaches is a kind of hybridity of what they create. The hybrid, according to the artists, can exist in a variety of relations: a world of hybrid wars, hybrid technologies, hybrid forms of contact, and a symbiosis between the analogue and the digital. Nothing exists in its pure form anymore. Each work is thought of in the context of often mutually exclusive elements that nonetheless sometimes exist in material or meaningful balance," say the exhibition organizers.
