In the second round, Dimitrov eliminated Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina, defeating him 6:7 (9), 6:3, 7:5 in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Dimitrov needs to win the title in Paris to play in the 2024 Finals.

In the third round in Paris, the Bulgarian will play Arthur Rinderknech of France. Rinderknech reached this stage of the competition by eliminating American Alex Michelsen by two sets to love - 7:6 (6), 7:6 (7).

So far, Dimitrov and Rinderknech have played each other twice, with Dimitrov winning in straight sets on both occasions.
