site.btaSofia Opera Performs Christmas Concert of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria

The Sofia Opera and Ballet will perform a Christmas Concert of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria on December 19. Luciano di Martino will conduct the Sofia Opera Orchestra, the Opera said.

The programme features arias and duets from Verdi's La Traviata, Rigoletto, I Vespri siciliani and Puccini's La bohѐme, Madama Butterfly, Turandot and Tosca, among others.

The special guest, Luna Vigni, will play Bizet/Borne's Fantasie Brilliant based on Carmen for flute and orchestra. César Franck's Panis Angelicus is also on the bill.
