Fucking Bornholm, a 2022 Polish feature film which won the Europa Cinemas Label at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, will be screened at the Polish Institute in Sofia on December 14, the Institute said.

It is a comedy-drama about the generation of today's 40-year-olds. It discusses the subject of identity at a time when the traditional meanings of the term are no longer relevant. A group of friends take a trip with their children to the Danish island of Bornholm, which they have often visited together before. An incident among the kids causes a crisis of relations affecting the adult members of the group. Each couple appears to be happy, but is it, really?

Fucking Bornholm was directed by Anna Kazejak. The top cast includes Agnieszka Grochowska, Maciej Stuhr, Grzegorz Damiecki, Jasmina Polak and Magnus Krepper.
